Bio
Educational Background:
B.A., Double Major in Communication (Public Relations) and Spanish (Bilingual Education Concentration), 蜜月直播 (2018)
What were you involved with on campus as a student?
As a student, I was actively engaged with the Department of Spiritual Life and Service (formerly Campus Ministry). I served on the Student Advisory Board, helped coordinate the annual Giving Tree event, took part in community service, retreats, and small group activities. Additionally, I was involved with Habitat for Humanity and the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA).
Favorite spot-on campus:
The river is by far my favorite spot on campus. It offers a tranquil setting to relax, watch the sunset, and enjoy the beautiful fall foliage.
Favorite Marist tradition:
My favorite Marist tradition is the Annual Giving Tree. Serving on the Giving Tree Committee and overseeing this cherished tradition was incredibly rewarding. It is uplifting to witness the Marist community, and the surrounding area come together to support those in need.
Favorite Marist memory:
One of my favorite Marist memories is when a Spanish professor encouraged me to double major in Communications and Spanish. Despite my initial nervousness, her belief in my abilities inspired me to declare the second major. This decision turned out to be one of the best I ever made, allowing me to forge new friendships and travel to places like the Dominican Republic as part of a class spring attachment.
Best advice for the college search:
Ask questions! Don鈥檛 hesitate to reach out. The college search can be overwhelming, and you might not find the perfect fit immediately. Stay patient and open-minded throughout the process.
Why did you choose Marist?
I chose Marist for several reasons, but one of the primary factors was the strong sense of community and belonging I felt during my campus tour. The warm welcome from everyone assured me that Marist would be a place where I could feel comfortable while also being challenged and given opportunities for growth.
What makes Marist special to you?
The sense of community and family I have gained from attending and now working at 蜜月直播 is truly special. I remain close friends with people I met on move-in day during my first year. I would not be where I am today, or who I am, without the support of the Marist community.
