Nick Tormey: Grateful For Experiential Opportunities At Marist
"There were many ways in which Marist helped prepare me for success, but one specific example during my interview at Marvel comes to mind. I was asked how comfortable I was with a system used in post-production and something they didn't expect someone so early in their career to know a lot about. Luckily, I had been using it in my production classes at Marist since freshman year. It鈥檚 little things like that that continually pop up that make me very grateful for my Marist education."

Perform Media Studies and Production Work for Real Clients
At Marist, we firmly believe that producing media that meets the needs of real clients, rather than simply satisfying the requirements of a class assignment, provides the real-world skills for an edge in the industry. That鈥檚 why our Media Studies and Production students are given the opportunity to produce work for real clients in the community, and even collaborate on interdisciplinary projects with students from other majors.
