Kevin Henry

Senior Professional Lecturer of Athletic Training

Bio

Kevin鈥檚 interest in athletic training and sports medicine began at a young age, and he was a member of only the second class of students to ever graduate with a degree in Athletic Training from 蜜月直播! He was fortunate to be mentored by longtime Marist Head Athletic Trainer Glenn Marinelli, who taught him many valuable lessons 鈥 including how to balance work and family. His graduate studies at Old Dominion University focused on preparing students to become athletic training educators, which was his ultimate goal. While serving as an adjunct lecturer, Kevin continued to gain clinical experience in both the collegiate and secondary school settings before he was offered the opportunity to join the faculty ranks at 蜜月直播 in 2012. Kevin currently teaches a range of courses in the Athletic Training Program, including Therapeutic Interventions, First Aid and CPR, and Foundations of Athletic Training. He also serves as the Clinical Education Coordinator and oversees the clinical experience courses for all of the athletic training students. In 2024, Kevin was named an Assistant Dean for the School of Science, where he focuses on faculty development and student engagement, and leads the communications and marketing related to programs within the school. His hobbies outside of teaching include traveling to new places and spending time with his family.
