August 20, 2024 鈥 蜜月直播 is excited to announce the launch of the Marist Alumni Ambassador Program (MAAP), inviting alumni to help recruit future generations of Red Foxes. Available to over 50,000 Marist alumni worldwide, the program supports new student recruitment and outreach, while providing alumni the opportunity to support the College in a different way.

MAAP鈥檚 aim is to provide crucial support by engaging alumni in the recruitment process to identify and connect with talented prospective students. The program reinforces key goals outlined in Marist 100, supporting the talented and diverse faculty, staff, and students that underpin the Expansive Community pillar of the College鈥檚 strategic plan.

鈥淲orking together with our alumni community as they share their passion for Marist with future Red Foxes reflects the ongoing impact of the College on its graduates,鈥 said Corinne Schell '83, Director of the Alumni Admission Program. 鈥淭heir support signifies a commitment to the success of both individual alumni and the College as a whole.鈥

Alumni who join the program will collaborate with the Office of Admission by representing Marist at local college fairs, attending receptions, and participating in college sponsored events on and off campus. These personal connections made by alumni volunteers often inspire prospective students and families to join the Marist community.

A number of alumni have already joined the program.

鈥淢arist, and the advisory faculty I worked with as a student, in addition to the vast alumni network I have engaged with following graduation, have paved a path for a smooth journey in the early portion of my professional career,鈥 said Dr. Ryan Hoffman '12, who is based in San Diego. 鈥淚 am constantly inspired and energized by the forward thinking and innovation of the student body, and it feels wonderful to give back to a campus that promotes such an incredible set of values.鈥

"I became an ambassador to give back to Marist and stay connected with the changes since I graduated,鈥 said Davis Ka鈥檌mipono Haas '21, a resident of Hawaii. 鈥淚t鈥檚 rewarding to use my experiences to help potential students see how Marist can shape their future. I love reassuring students here about the 'mainland' experience and providing guidance to those facing the challenges of being far from home.鈥

鈥淚 have had the distinct pleasure and honor of representing 蜜月直播 in many years of covering college fairs and participating in admitted student programs,鈥 said Kevin Lover '69, who lives in Coronado, California. 鈥淚t has been inspiring and a great experience to share Marist with parents and students.
