If I have little technology background, can I enroll and succeed in this program?
Absolutely. A background in information systems/technology is not required to enter the MSIS program. Professionals, who are looking to make themselves more marketable and have an interest in technology and business routinely apply and go on to successful careers.

How do I know if I have enough technology know-how to succeed in this program?
A Marist advisor will work with you to discuss your goals and help you with the necessary prerequisites needed to enroll. The advisor may recommend specific undergraduate or graduate course work to satisfy prerequisite requirements or remedy deficiencies as identified by the graduate director.

If I have a technology background, how will I benefit from this degree?
If you have a technology background, our professors will teach you business and problem-solving skills. As part of our project work, you will pick up new software tools to help you become a stronger professional. In a nutshell, you will become more valuable to your organization as a strategic problem solver, which will put you on the path to Chief Technology Officer or Chief Information Officer.

If I have a professional degree, how will I benefit from this degree?
Many doctors, lawyers, architects, accountants, and other professionals are realizing that technology is a driver for change in their fields. They enroll in the Master's in Information Systems to learn the language of technology, subsequently becoming more effective in their professions.

As a working professional, can I find time to study and work full-time?
Yes. Our program is available through flexible on-campus or online courses that are offered both full- and part-time.

How do I know which track to enroll in?
We offer Information Systems Management (ISM), Business Analytics (BA), or Computer Networking and Security (CNS) concentrations. Since we are all unique, our Information Systems Graduate Director consults with you to help you choose the track that's right for you based on your professional and technical goals.

Is financial assistance available?

Need-based financial assistance is available for matriculated students in the form of loans and scholarships. For consideration, students must complete the FAFSA. For specific questions concerning financial aid, you may visit the Office of Student Financial Services or call (845) 575-3230. 

Marist offers graduate scholarships for new students accepted into an applicable graduate degree or certificate programs. Financial need is not an eligibility requirement. Contact the Office of Graduate Admission for more information.

Unfortunately, 蜜月直播 does not have housing for graduate students. However, our Campus Housing Office does provide resources for securing off-campus living arrangements.

How do I obtain my books if I am completing an online program or course?
Textbooks can be ordered online and shipped through the 蜜月直播 Bookstore. Select textbooks may be available to rent.

What is the GPA requirement for graduate school at 蜜月直播?
Most of the graduate programs at Marist require students to achieve a 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA based on a system in which a 4.0 is equivalent to an A grade. However, it is important to note that your application will be reviewed holistically based on your completed application. If you have questions about the application review process or have concerns about your undergraduate GPA, please email the Graduate Admission Office or call 888.877.7900.
