Q. Is financial assistance available?

A. Need-based financial assistance is available for matriculated students in the form of loans and scholarships. For consideration, students must complete the . For specific questions concerning financial aid, you may visit the Office of Student Financial Services or call (845) 575-3230.

Marist offers graduate scholarships for new students accepted into applicable graduate degree or certificate programs. Financial need is not an eligibility requirement. Contact the Office of Graduate Admission for more information.

Q. Does ÃÛÔÂÖ±²¥ offer assistantships to graduate students?

A. Yes, there are some assistantships available.  It varies by program.

Q. Does ÃÛÔÂÖ±²¥ offer residential housing for graduate students?

A. Unfortunately, ÃÛÔÂÖ±²¥ does not have housing for graduate students.

Q. How do I obtain my books if I am completing an online program or course?

A. Textbooks can be ordered online and shipped through the . 

Q. What is the GPA requirement for graduate school at ÃÛÔÂÖ±²¥?

A. Most of the graduate programs at Marist require students to achieve a 3.0 cumulative undergraduate GPA based on a system in which a 4.0 is equivalent to an A grade. It is important to note that students will be reviewed holistically based on their completed application.

Q. Are there standardized tests required?

A. Students may be required to take either the GRE (Graduate Record Exam) or the GMAT (Graduate Management Admission Test) depending on the program they plan to pursue. Several of ÃÛÔÂÖ±²¥'s graduate degree programs accept both the GRE or the GMAT to fulfill admission requirements.
