New Graduate Student Checklist

Congratulations on your acceptance to 蜜月直播 for graduate studies! Now that you have made the decision to join the Marist community, please refer to the checklist below for helpful tips on what to do next! 

*Military students: Please see the requirements for activating your GI Benefits at 蜜月直播.

1. Submit your deposit:

$1,500  - Doctor of Physical Therapy
$1,500 - Physician Assistant Program
$500 - Athletic Training Program
$500 - Museum Studies Program
$250 - All other graduate programs

Deposits will be applied directly to your first-semester tuition bill. Visit the Graduate Enrollment Deposit page for additional information.

2. Request Transcripts.

If you have not already submitted your official degree noted transcript, your official transcript is required in order to maintain matriculation.

3. Provide Required Health Information

Please proceed to for further information about required health documentation. Please note that you will not be able to register for courses if the required information is not submitted.

4. Register for classes.

Registration for the fall semester will begin in April and spring semester registration begins in November.  For the majority of our graduate programs, the Graduate Admission office will provide registration information, however, for the Mental Health Counseling, Education, School Psychology, and Museum Studies programs, program directors will provide advisement and course registration. 

5. Find housing as needed.

The Office of Housing and Residential Life compiles a listing of available rental properties in the local area.

6. Obtain your ID card (must be registered for classes first).

Students who wish to attend campus events or use the library must obtain a 蜜月直播 Identification Card. The Marist ID also enables access to Marist Money services. 

To obtain an ID visit the Marist Card Office in Donnelly Hall, Room 241 with your CWID number. IDs can be obtained Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am and 4:30 pm.

7. Obtain your parking sticker (must be registered for classes first).

In order to park on campus, you must obtain a parking permit.

Contact the Office of Safety and Security to register your car online. You may check the status of your permit request on the same website. When the permit is ready, you may pick it up in the Office of Safety & Security in Donnelly Hall, Room 201.

To receive your permit you must bring the following with you to the security office:

  • your Marist ID card
  • a copy of your driver's license
  • a copy of the vehicle registration

8. Log on to Foxmail and Online Self Service.

All students receive a Marist email address which is used for official college communications. The Information Technology department will send correspondence regarding your password, however, you can also call the Information Technology Help Desk at (845) 575-4357 with your CWID and receive your email for life and password over the phone. You should be prepared to show proof of ID as well.

The Online Student Services page gives you easy access to review your financial aid information, register for classes, review your personal information, request copies of your transcript, and view your schedule and grades.

To log on to Online Self Service go to . Select "Enter Student Services" and log on using your Foxmail account and password.

9. Review the Academic Calendar.

Take note of important dates such as the first day of class, add/drop deadlines, and upcoming college closures.

10. Buy textbooks.

Textbooks can be bought online via the . The books will be sent directly to your home. You will need to provide the Bookstore with the complete course number.
