蜜月直播 Our Organization

The National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE) at 蜜月直播 is committed to fostering academic excellence, career advancement, and leadership development for Black engineers and STEM students. Our mission is to increase diversity, provide professional opportunities, and build a supportive community that empowers members to excel. We offer career networking, industry mentorship, technical development, and leadership training. For the first time in our chapter鈥檚 history, we attended the NSBE National Convention, fulfilling a long-awaited goal for our members. Our club is open to all students passionate about STEM, innovation, and creating a more inclusive professional environment..  

Club Leadership

President: Gelila Getu

  • Primary leader and representative of NSBE Marist, responsible for overseeing all club activities and ensuring alignment with the organization鈥檚 mission.

Vice President: Yabikibra Asemie

  • Assists the President in leading the organization and manages internal club operations, and logistics, plus coordinates initiatives.

Secretary: Benjamin Banza

  • Keeps records, handles communication, and tracks attendance.

Treasurer: Bryan BuduSmith-Otoo

  • Manages club finances, budgets, and funding requests.

Webmaster: Linda Mukunda

  • Manages website and social media updates.

Event Coordinator: Ashley Ojeda

  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and executing all NSBE events, ensuring they align with the club鈥檚 mission of professional development, academic excellence, and community engagement.

Communications Chair: Robsen Gelalcha

  • Oversees outreach, marketing, and promotional materials.

Meeting Times

We meet every other week for General Body Meetings (GBMs) and one major event every month in addition to executive board meetings. Meetings happen in the Lounge/Library at 5:00PM on Fridays. Stay updated via our email list and social media.

Earn Priority Points through Clubs and Activities

To earn one (1) point: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 50% of club/organization activities.

To earn two (2) points: Members must attend a minimum of 50% of club/organization meetings for the semester and 75% of club/organization activities PLUS the community service event.

To earn three (3) points (executive board only): Officers must attend 50% of club meetings for the semester and 100% of club activities including community service. If executive board members do not complete all of the requirements to earn three points, they will be eligible to receive up to two points based on the above criteria.
